Azerbaijan condemns Pakistan train terrorist attack

The news of the terrorist attack on a Pakistani passenger train, which resulted in a tragic loss of life, shocked and deeply saddened us.

Axar.az reports that these words were reflected in the statement released by the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry on its X account.

"We express our deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and wish recovery to all those injured. In this difficult period, we stand in solidarity with the brotherly Islamic Republic of Pakistan and strongly condemn all forms and manifestations of the terrorist threat," the statement said.

It should be noted that a passenger train in Pakistan was seized by terrorists, and 450 passengers on board were taken hostage. It turned out that more than 10 passengers were killed during the hostage-taking.

More than 150 passengers have been released so far as a result of the operation by law enforcement agencies.
