Matviyenko: Baku committed to strengthening ties with Russia

Moscow is convinced of Azerbaijan’s determination to continue its multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the Speaker of Russia’s Federation Council, Valentina Matviyenko.

“And I can confidently say that just like Russia, Azerbaijan is determined to continue building relations of such a high level—relations of allied partnership, good neighborliness, and mutual respect,” said the Federation Council speaker said.

Notably, Matviyenko visited Baku on March 16.
