The views of Azerbaijan and Greece coincide, and bilateral relations have great potential.

Axar.az reports that Dimitris Skalkos, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece, spoke about this at an official reception held in Baku on the occasion of the National Day of this country.

He noted that Greece is committed to the principles of dialogue, friendship, good neighborly relations, and peaceful resolution of disputes based on international law:

“These principles and values are our guiding principles in the world today and tomorrow. It is these principles and values that Greece defends as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2025-2026. Numerous cooperation opportunities are awaiting us in the future. At this point, I would like to express my deep gratitude, in particular, to Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, as well as Assistant to the President Hikmet Hajiyev, for the excellent cooperation with our embassy.”
