Tatar calls for embassies in Northern Cyprus

President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ersin Tatar has called on Turkish states to open embassies in his country.

Axar.az reports that he made this statement in his speech at the 4th Antalya Diplomatic Forum.

E. Tatar, commenting on the attempts of some Turkish states to recognize the Greek part of Cyprus, noted that this is being done at the instigation of the European Union (EU):

"I would like the Turkish state to establish the same relationship with Northern Cyprus."
