Aliyev highlights corridor to the EU

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev explained everything to the European Union and the European Commission in a very simple way. President Ilham Aliyev noted at the international forum on the topic “Towards a New World Order” that when talking about the Central Corridor, it is enough to look at the map first.

Axar.az reports that Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili said this in the “Daily Chronicle” program.

“President Ilham Aliyev brought to the attention of the leaders of the European Union and the European Commission that when talking about the corridor, first of all, you need to look at the map to see where this corridor goes. If you look at the map and see the countries there, of course, it is impossible to talk about the corridor without mentioning those countries and without looking at the relations with the states you are talking about this corridor. Of course, the approach of the Azerbaijani President is very correct,” the minister emphasized.

According to him, as President Ilham Aliyev emphasized, Georgia, like Azerbaijan, is one of the two important countries that play an important role in this corridor. This in itself is a very important and necessary topic for the European Union. It is also important for Brussels to take this issue seriously and not use manipulative approaches to properly implement projects that should contribute to the connection of Asia and Europe, which Europe needs today in various directions.

“Georgia is ready to play its role. Everyone here understands that it is impossible to fulfill this function and achieve this goal without Georgia,” Maka Bochorishvili noted.
