Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has proposed that Armenia and Azerbaijan simultaneously sign a peace agreement and a joint statement on the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group.

Axar.az reports speaking at the parliament on Tuesday, Pashinyan said the draft "Agreement on Peace and the Establishment of Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan" has been finalized, and both sides have entered the stage of discussing its signing.

"Azerbaijan officially links the signing of the agreement to two issues — one of them being the dissolution of the Minsk Group structures. I have repeatedly stated that this agenda is acceptable to the Republic of Armenia," he said.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated, "If we are closing the page on the Karabakh conflict, which we are, then what is the purpose of a structure focused on the Karabakh conflict?
