On July 12, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Ukraine’s Minister of Energy German Galushchenko.

Axar.az reports the meeting emphasized the importance of the consistent support both countries have shown for each other’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

They expressed satisfaction with the development of friendly and cooperative relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine.

The significance of today’s meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission in Baku was noted, particularly in terms of expanding economic ties in various directions.

The Ukrainian Minister expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for the humanitarian assistance provided to the people of Ukraine.

The meeting also included discussions on the current agenda of Azerbaijan-Ukraine bilateral relations and the prospects for cooperation in the fields of economy, energy, agriculture, humanitarian issues, and other areas.
