Kazakhstan to test first meteorological rocket in 2025

Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry will conduct flight tests of the country’s first meteorological rocket in 2025.

Axar.az reports, citing the ministry’s press service.

“Currently, organizations under the Aerospace Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry are carrying out research and development work on the prototype of the meteorological rocket. Flight tests are planned for 2025,” the press service said.

The ministry noted that information regarding the research and development work is classified as restricted official information, and therefore they cannot provide details on the progress, specifications, or results.
