TASS replaces 'Khankendi' with 'Nagorno-Karabakh' -

12:33

The TASS news agency has changed the title of its article about the demolition of the monument to the Russian marine painter Ivan Aivazovsky in Khankendi.

Axar.az reports that the agency replaced the word "Stepanakert" with the phrase "Nagorno-Karabakh" instead of "Khankendi".

It should be noted that there is no longer a place called "Nagorno-Karabakh" on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Even the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, stressed that there is no administrative territorial unit called "Nagorno-Karabakh" in Azerbaijan.

The TASS news agency has made another change to the title of its article about the demolition of the monument to the artist Ivan Aivazovsky.

The agency replaced the phrase "Nagorno-Karabakh" with "Karabakh" in the title of the article it published some time ago.

However, it still retained the phrases "Stepanakert" and "Artsakh" in the text of the article.

It should be noted that yesterday, the TASS news agency published an article titled "Aivazovsky's monument demolished in Stepanakert." The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs also issued a warning, stating that it expects an apology and appropriate correction from the TASS news agency on this issue.
