Armenia violated ceasefire with Azerbaijan

Armenian armed units violated ceasefire with Azerbaijan 119 times on various parts of the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenia troops in one day, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on March 7.

Armenian armed units stationed in the village Berkaber of Armenia’s Ijevan district, villages Voskepar, Voskevan of Noyemberyan district, villages Aygepar, Mosesgegh of Berd district fired on the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces in Gizilhajili, Mazam, Gushchu Ayrim villages of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh district, Agdam, Alibayli villages of Tovuz district.

Moreover, Azerbaijani positions located on nameless uplands of Gadabay district came under fire from Armenian positions located on nameless uplands of Krasnoselsk district.

Another ceasefire violation came from the positions located in Gulustan village of Goranboy district, Goyarkh, Chilaburt villages of Terter district, Yusifjanli, Marzili, Novruzlu, Javahirli, Sarijali Shuraaabad, Kangarli, Garagashli, Shikhlar, villages of Aghdam district, Kuropatkino of Khojavend district, Horadiz, Garakhanbeyli, Gorgan, Ashaghi Seyidahmadli of Fizulu district, Mehdili of Jabrayil district, as well as on nameless uplands on Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavend, Fizuli and Jabrayil districts.


In consideration of the operational situation, Azerbaijani armed forces inflicted 125 strikes on enemy positions.
