On the occasion of September 27 – Memorial Day, large-scale tree planting and forest restoration activities were held in the country’s forest fund lands, organized by the Forest Development Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

Axar.az reports that with the participation of employees of Regional Forestry Centers and war veterans, more than 20,000 saplings of various species, adapted to local soil and climate conditions, were planted in the forest fund lands of Shirvan city and the districts of Lerik, Goranboy, Tovuz, Gadabay, Aghjabadi, Yevlakh, Shabran, Gusar, Aghsu, Sheki, Zagatala, Gabala, and Gubadli.
