President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev familiarized himself with the activities of the agrochemical production facility owned by “Humix” LLC in the Sabirabad Industrial District on October 28.

Axar.az informs “Humix” LLC was granted resident status in the Sabirabad Industrial District in 2021. The facility produces organic-mineral (powder), chemical (liquid and powder), and granular fertilizers. Operating with technologies from Türkiye, China, and local sources, the facility has an annual production capacity of 18,000 tons of fertilizers. In addition to meeting domestic demand, the products manufactured here will also be exported. Sixteen people have been provided with permanent employment at the facility.

For the facility, with an investment value of 1.45 million manats, the Azerbaijan Business Development Fund under the Ministry of Economy allocated a preferential loan of 497,000 manats and issued an investment incentive certificate.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev familiarized himself with the activities of the seed processing facility owned by “Azera Tokhumchulug” Limited Liability Company (LLC) in the Sabirabad Industrial District on October 28.

“Azera Tokhumchulug” LLC was registered as a resident of the Sabirabad Industrial District in 2021.

A facility for the production of standard and hybrid seeds has been established here using advanced Turkish technologies. Currently, several types of seed crops are produced at the facility. The facility has an annual production capacity of 500 tons of alfalfa seeds, 800 tons of hybrid corn, 350 tons of hybrid sunflower, 2,000 tons of barley, and 2,000 tons of wheat seeds. Seeds grown at the Sabirabad Pilot Agricultural Park, as well as those obtained from small, medium, and large farming enterprises in the region, are used as raw materials at the facility.

The facility, with a project value of 2.5 million manats, will provide 20 permanent jobs. It is planned to employ workers from Sabirabad and the surrounding districts.

President Ilham Aliyev visited the cotton processing plant of “Tashobasi” LLC in the Sabirabad Industrial District on October 28.

Registered as a resident of the Sabirabad Industrial District in 2023, the plant produces lint and technical fiber using technologies from Türkiye, Germany, and Italy.

The total project value is 3.3 million manats. Its annual production capacity is 8,000 tons of lint and 10,000 tons of technical fiber. The manufactured products serve both domestic and export markets. To date, products worth 2.6 million manats have been sold, including 2.2 million manats in exports. Cotton grown in Neftchala, Salyan, Sabirabad, and Saatli districts is used as raw material, creating seasonal employment for 300 people in cotton fields. Overall, 80 permanent jobs have been created at the plant.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the water filter production facility of “Firtina Su Sistemleri” LLC in the Sabirabad Industrial District on October 28.

“Firtina Su Sistemleri” LLC was registered as a resident of the Sabirabad Industrial District in 2024.

The facility, with a project value of approximately 1.2 million manats, produces equipment for liquid filtration and purification using Chinese technology. It plans to manufacture 210,000 filters and 15,000 water filter devices annually. The products, including devices and spare parts, are supplied to the domestic market and exported to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Türkiye.

The facility currently employs 50 people, with plans to expand employment in the near future.
