An Azerbaijani has died in the Russia-Ukraine war.

Axar.az reports Sardar Suleyman oglu Nasirov died from injuries he sustained in the conflict zone.

Nasirov, who was fighting on the Russian side, was brought to Baku today (October 30) and will be buried at the Turkanda cemetery.

He was born in the Sadarak settlement of Nakhchivan.

It should be noted that on December 7, 2023, three individuals accused of various crimes were extradited from Azerbaijan to Russia, and Nasirov was among them.

Russian citizen Sardar Suleyman oglu Nasirov, together with a group of people, had been accused of intentional murder, banditry, and other robbery-related crimes.
