On November 1, 2025, an environmental tree-planting campaign dedicated to Victory Day was held within the framework of the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty”, organized by the Khatai District Executive Authority.

Axar.az reports that the event was attended by the Head of the District Executive Authority, Rafiq Quliyev, Member of Parliament Vugar Rahimzade, Chairman of the YAP Khatai District Organization Ramil Mirzayev, fathers of martyrs, and employees of various local institutions and organizations.

The campaign took place in the Youth Park of the district. During the event, held to protect the environment and preserve ecological balance, new trees were planted, watered, and given agro-technical care.

The main goal of the tree-planting campaign was to expand green zones, ensure ecological stability, restore the city’s environmental balance, and promote public awareness about caring for nature.

As part of the event, landscaping and beautification works were carried out: dried and hazardous trees were removed, grass was trimmed, dry vegetation was cleared, and various types of flowers were planted in green areas. General cleaning and improvement works were also implemented.

It should be noted that throughout the autumn season, landscaping activities, new tree-planting efforts, and community clean-up campaigns will continue across the Khatai district.
