Azerbaijan is participating in the Asian Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (ACDR-2025) in Tokyo, Japan.

Axar.az reports that the information was shared on X account of Azerbaijan’s embassy in Japan.

The post stated, "On 17 December 2025, the Asian Conference on Disaster Reduction 2025 (ACDR2025) officially started in Tokyo. Azerbaijani is headed by Major General Mr. Niyazi Zamanov, Head of Main Department of Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan."

The ACDR-2025 conference will be held in Tokyo from December 17 to 19. Its theme is "Building Resilience Together: Towards a Disaster-Resilient Society Prepared for Mega-Disasters."
