Commemorative stamp issued for AZAL crash

A postage stamp has been issued to honor the Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) plane that crashed in Kazakhstan.

Axar.az informs the stamp commemorating flight J2-8243 will be presented to the public tomorrow.

The passenger plane, operating AZAL’s Baku-Grozny route, crashed near the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan, on December 25 last year.

Of the 67 people on board, 38 were killed and 29 survived.
