The weather forecast for January 5 has been released.

Axar.az reports, citing the National Hydrometeorological Service, that in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula the weather is expected to be partly cloudy, occasionally overcast, and mostly dry. A moderate southwesterly wind will blow.

The temperature will be 1–3°C above zero at night and 9–14°C above zero during the day. Atmospheric pressure will be around 768 mm of mercury, while relative humidity will be 55–65%.

In the regions of Azerbaijan, the weather is expected to be mostly dry. Intermittent fog is possible in some areas. A moderate westerly wind will blow.

The temperature will range from 3°C below zero to 2°C above zero at night and 8–13°C above zero during the day. In mountainous areas, temperatures will be 5–10°C below zero at night and from 1°C below zero to 4°C above zero during the day.

Icy conditions are possible on roads in some mountainous areas at night.
