The opening ceremony of the ASAN Service Center was held in the Pakistani capital Islamabad.
Axar.az informs the ceremony was attended by Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, members of the Pakistani government, and a delegation led by Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan.
The participants were informed about the center established in accordance with the ASAN concept, Azerbaijan’s intellectual brand. It was noted that the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on Cooperation in the Implementation of the 'ASAN Service' Experience in Pakistan” was signed with the participation of Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on September 10, 2025.
The Pakistan ASAN Service Center will initially host 64 services provided by 12 public institutions.
The center features “ASAN Service” standards, the ASAN volunteer program, and ASAN’s innovative solutions.
A special corner reflecting friendship between Azerbaijan and Pakistan was created at the entrance of the center, which also features Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s statement, highlighting the brotherly relations between the two countries.
After familiarizing himself with the center, Chairman of the State Agency Ulvi Mehdiyev made a presentation to the Pakistani delegation on the future development concept of the Pakistan ASAN Service Center, innovative solutions, and the DOST concept of Azerbaijan.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif expressed his gratitude to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for his support in implementing the “ASAN Service” model in Pakistan. He praised “ASAN Service” as a progressive and innovative model in the provision of public services, emphasizing that this model will be broadly applied in Pakistan.
Anar Bayramov, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, and Khazar Farhadov, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, also attended the inauguration ceremony.
