The procedure for combining the duration of the main and additional vacations has been changed.

Axar.az reports that this is reflected in the Law on Amendments to the Labor Code approved by President Ilham Aliyev.

Previously, if an employee was simultaneously entitled to two or more additional vacations stipulated in the articles of the Labor Code related to working conditions, characteristics of the labor function, and additional vacation due to length of service, one additional vacation of a longer duration was combined with his main vacation.

According to the law, if an employee is simultaneously entitled to additional vacations stipulated in the articles of the Labor Code related to working conditions, characteristics of the labor function, and additional vacation due to length of service, the additional vacation obtained under each of the two articles will be combined with his main vacation.
