Peace Shield exercise participants depart for the UAE -

A group of servicemen of the Azerbaijan Army left for the United Arab Emirates to take part in the Peace Shield – 2026 joint operational-tactical exercise.

Axar.az informs, citing the Ministry of Defense, the main objective of the exercise is to enhance the professional skills of the participating countries’ military contingents in anti-terror operations, contribute to the maintenance of lasting peace, and gain mutual experience.

It should be noted that the Peace Shield – 2026 joint operational-tactical exercise will be conducted on February 2-3.
