Heavy rain and strong winds expected tomorrow

Heavy rain and strong winds are expected in Azerbaijan on April 4.

Axar.az informs, citing the National Hydrometeorology Service, Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will experience partly cloudy to overcast skies, with occasional rain in some areas from the morning.

Rain may be heavy in certain parts of the peninsula, and thunderstorms are possible. Fog is expected in some areas at night and in the morning. A moderate northwest wind will occasionally strengthen during the day.

Temperatures in Baku and the peninsula are forecasted at 10–14°C at night and 14–16°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will rise from 751 to 754 mmHg, with relative humidity between 70–80%.

Rainfall will gradually spread from the western regions to other parts of the country. In some areas, rain may be heavy, particularly in the east, accompanied by thunderstorms, hail, and snow in mountainous regions. Fog may occur intermittently, and the western wind will occasionally strengthen in certain areas.

Temperatures across the country are expected at 8–12°C at night and 15–19°C during the day, while in mountainous areas, nighttime temperatures may drop to 2–6°C with daytime highs of 0–2°C.
