Azersun Holding has held a commemoration ceremony at the Fakhri Khiyaban memorial complex on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

Axar.az reports that the company’s Supervisory Board Chairman Tahir Gozel and the group’s senior management visited the Alley of Honor to pay tribute.

During the visit, Gozel said that Heydar Aliyev played an exceptional role in the formation of modern and independent Azerbaijan, noting that his visionary policies helped strengthen the country’s position on the international stage.

The memory of the National Leader was honored with deep respect, and wreaths and flowers were laid at his grave.

The delegation also paid tribute to prominent ophthalmologist and academician Zarifa Aliyeva, as well as well-known statesman Aziz Aliyev.
