Gold price drops by around 60 manats

Gold prices have been declining in recent months compared to previous levels. Currently, the price of one gram of gold has dropped by approximately 60 manats compared to earlier periods.

Axar.az reports that sellers say that buyers are showing the most interest in Turkish-made gold.

“One gram of these products is currently offered at around 175 manats. At the same time, the buyback price of gold has also decreased. Previously, gold was bought for around 170 manats, but now it is accepted at approximately 130 manats. A similar decline is also observed in the silver market,” the report noted.

Economist Rashad Hasanov stated that several factors influence changes in the value of precious metals:

“These include rising energy and oil prices, persistently high inflation, and increased demand for the US dollar.”

Experts believe it is difficult to provide an accurate short-term price forecast for gold and silver markets, as ongoing uncertainty continues to shape expectations about future price movements.
