The reconstruction of Azerbaijan's Karabakh is an example worthy of attention and pride, Igor Garafulic, the UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, said at the panel session "Peace-Positive Climate Action through Urban Solutions in Fragile and Conflict-Affected Settings" at the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku.

Axar.az reports that he noted that Azerbaijan's experience in the post-conflict reconstruction of Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur is an important example.

"During my recent visit, we saw how the ASAN Service (Azerbaijani state agency for public services) system works and how it is implemented in practice. And frankly, anyone who has the opportunity to visit the liberated territories should do so. This is a living example of how to rebuild with dignity," Garafulic said.

He added that he was particularly impressed by the level of projects implemented, including the university, clinic, and ASAN centers.
