The Baku–Tbilisi–Baku passenger services will be carried out using trains produced by Switzerland’s Stadler Rail Group.

Axar.az reports that the trains will feature sleeper-type carriages as well as a restaurant car.

In total, more than 200 passengers are expected to be transported in one direction per trip.

It is noted that President Ilham Aliyev inspected this train in 2019.

The Baku–Tbilisi passenger rail service is set to resume from May 26.
