As part of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), an event titled “Baku Master Plan 2040: A New Era of Development” was held at the Azerbaijan Pavilion.

Axar.az informs, citing WUF13’s Facebook account, the event featured discussions on the Baku City Master Plan for 2040, the future development directions of the capital, modern urban planning approaches, the improvement of transport infrastructure and sustainable urbanization.

The event was jointly organized by the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA), the Azerbaijan State Agency of Automobile Roads (AAYDA), the State Housing Development Agency (MIDA), the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, AS+ and BCG.
