WUF13 hosts women’s roundtable on housing rights

The Women’s Roundtable was held as part of WUF13, bringing together diverse voices from across sectors and lived experiences.

Axar.az reports that the session was attended by Anaclaudia Rossbach, Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme, UN-Habitat; Bahar Muradova, Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan; and Patricia Scotland, Member of the UK House of Lords and 6th Secretary-General of the Commonwealth.

The roundtable highlighted how advancing women’s housing and land rights is essential to building safer, more inclusive and resilient urban futures.
