Nizami Ganjavi bust covered for restoration in Georgia - Video

The monument of the great Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi in the Marneuli district of Georgia has been desecrated, with footage circulating showing the bust covered in a white cloth.

Axar.az reports that the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia said the covering was temporary and done for restoration purposes.

It added that restoration work on the monument will begin soon.
