AZAL plans new Baku–Muscat flights

Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) CJSC is planning to launch a Baku–Muscat flight.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in a press release from Azerbaijan’s embassy in Oman.

The report says that AZAL held a presentation ceremony for the Baku–Muscat charter flight in Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman. Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Oman, Rashad Ismayilov, also attended the event.

Speaking at the ceremony, the diplomat said the new route would make an important contribution to expanding tourism, business, and people-to-people ties between Azerbaijan and Oman.

It was emphasized that the new route would create additional opportunities for developing cooperation between the two countries.
