Former Azerbaijani ambassador to Georgia dies

Former Azerbaijani Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia, Dursun Hasanov, has passed away.

Axar.az informs that Hasanov died at his home in Baku.

He will be laid to rest in Baku on June 13.

It should be noted that Hasanov was originally from the village of Algeti in Georgia’s Marneuli Municipality region. He served as Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Georgia from 2017 to 2020.
