Azerbaijan plans visa-free regime for South Korea

Visa-free regime for South Korea citizens to Azerbaijan is expected to be announced soon.

Axar.az informs, citing Repоrt, that this was stated by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It was noted that on June 17, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed a delegation led by South Korea’s Deputy Foreign Minister Chung Eui-hae during a meeting that a decision had been made to introduce visa-free travel for all types of passport holders from the Republic of Korea.

Both sides emphasized that such a step would contribute to expanding cooperation in tourism and other areas, as well as increasing people-to-people contacts.
