77‑year‑old Azerbaijani killed in Russian drone strike -

A 77‑year‑old Azerbaijani man, Elmar Aliyev, was killed in Ukraine's Sumy Oblast after a Russian army drone strike.

Axar.az informs, citing Repоrt, Aliyev, born in 1949, was driving his car in the Velyka Pysarivka district near the Russian border when a drone carrying a hand grenade targeted him. He died instantly at the scene.

Aliyev, originally from Azerbaijan's Beylagan district, was a Ukrainian citizen. His body has been sent to Azerbaijan for burial.
