Azerbaijan, Sudan move toward visa-free travel for diplomats

Holders of diplomatic passports from Azerbaijan and Sudan will be granted mutual visa-free travel under a new agreement.

Axar.az reports that the provision is included in a draft law approving the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Sudan on the Mutual Visa Exemption for Holders of Diplomatic Passports."

The draft law was discussed at today’s meeting of the Azerbaijani parliament's Committee on Foreign and Interparliamentary Relations and recommended for consideration at a plenary session.
