Rain and thunderstorms are expected in parts of Azerbaijan on July 8.

Axar.az reports, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service, that Baku and the Absheron Peninsula are expected to see partly cloudy weather, with mainly dry conditions.

However, rain is forecast in some areas during the night and morning. A northwesterly wind is expected to strengthen at times.

Temperatures in Baku and Absheron will range from 19–22°C at night to 26–29°C during the day.

In the country's regions, intermittent rain is expected in some areas, with heavy downpours, thunderstorms and hail possible in isolated locations. Precipitation may intensify overnight and in the morning in some northern and western districts, while fog is expected in mountainous areas.

Daytime temperatures across the regions are forecast to reach 30–34°C, while mountainous areas will see highs of 18–23°C, rising to 25–28°C in some locations.
