We have been informed that work is underway on the road and railway project of the Zangezur corridor passing through Armenia, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov told journalists.

Axar.az informs, citing APА, the minister noted that one of the most important outcomes of last year's Washington Summit was the agreement on the section of the Zangezur corridor passing through Armenia:

"The United States also supports this. Negotiations in this direction are being held between the United States and Armenia. However, at the same time, the entry and exit points of TRIPP are located on the territory of Azerbaijan. Therefore, we are kept informed by our partners from the United States. The assurances given to us are that the process is underway, and it is currently at the stage of preparing the documents," he said.
