Azerbaijan wins five medals at International Physics Olympiad

Azerbaijan was successfully represented at the 56th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO), held in Bucaramanga, Colombia, from July 4 to 12.

Axar.az reports that five students from various secondary schools represented Azerbaijan at the prestigious competition, which brought together participants from more than 90 countries. The Azerbaijani team delivered a strong performance, winning three silver and two bronze medals.

During the event, it was also decided that the 57th International Physics Olympiad will be held in Saudi Arabia in 2027.
