Temperatures in Azerbaijan are expected to reach 40°C on Tuesday.

Axar.az reports that according to the National Hydrometeorological Service, that mainly dry weather is forecast for Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, with northwesterly winds occasionally strengthening.

Temperatures in Baku and Absheron will range from 21–26°C at night to 28–32°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will rise from 754 mmHg to 757 mmHg, while relative humidity will be 70–80% at night and 50–60% during the day.

Elsewhere in the country, conditions will remain mostly dry. However, from the afternoon, intermittent rain is expected in some mountainous and foothill areas, with the possibility of heavy showers, thunderstorms and hail in isolated locations. Fog is forecast in some mountainous areas overnight and in the morning. Moderate easterly winds will prevail.

Temperatures across the regions will range from 21–26°C at night to 35–38°C during the day, reaching 40°C in some areas. In the mountains, temperatures are expected to be 14–18°C at night and 24–29°C during the day.
