Slovak President pays tribute to Heydar Aliyev

Slovak President Peter Pellegrini, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited the Alley of Honor on July 15 to pay tribute to Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people and the founder and architect of modern independent Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that Pellegrini laid a wreath at Heydar Aliyev's tomb.

The Slovak president also honored the memory of prominent ophthalmologist and academician Zarifa Aliyeva, placing flowers at her grave.

He also paid tribute to distinguished statesman Aziz Aliyev and Professor Tamerlan Aliyev.
