Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov will pay an official visit to Russia on July 16–17, where he is scheduled to hold talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that the announcement was made by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova during a briefing.

"The Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan will pay an official visit to the Russian Federation from July 16 to 17, during which he will hold talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. The two ministers will discuss the current state and prospects of Russia-Azerbaijan relations, as well as a number of pressing regional and international issues," she said.
