No Azerbaijani citizens reported among Nepal flood victims

No information has been received about Azerbaijani citizens being among those killed, injured or missing in the floods on the Nepal-China border.

Axar.az reports, citing АPA, that Aykhan Hajizada, head of the Press Service Department of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, made the remarks.

It should be noted that the death toll from the severe floods in Nepal has reached 165, while more than 570 people remain missing. A total of 579 people are currently listed as missing, including 466 foreign nationals from 28 countries and 113 Nepali citizens.
