Axar.az reports that, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service, in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, weather conditions are expected to be unstable from the evening of August 30 until the morning of September 1, with rain expected, occasionally becoming heavy showers.

Thunderstorms are possible in some parts of the peninsula, while the rain is expected to be intense and briefly heavy on the evening of August 31.

In Azerbaijan’s regions, the unstable weather is expected to continue until September 1, with intermittent rain in some areas. In some places, the rain may be intense and briefly heavy, with thunderstorms and hail possible.

Due to the expected rainy weather, water levels in rivers are expected to rise, and short-term flooding in some mountain rivers cannot be ruled out.
