7,568.9 hectares cleared of mines and UXOs over past month

A total of 514 anti-personnel mines, 121 anti-tank mines, and 2724 unexploded ordnances (UXOs) were detected and neutralized during mine-clearance operations carried out in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories last month.

Axar.az informs according to the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA), the agency noted that 7,568.9 hectares of land were cleared of mines and UXOs during the reporting period.
