Azerbaijan Airlines resumes scheduled flights to Jeddah

Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) will resume regular flights to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, starting September 15.

Axar.az reports that fights on the Baku-Jeddah-Baku route will operate four times a week — on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The new flight schedule will give passengers additional opportunities to conveniently plan trips for tourism, business and other purposes.

Jeddah, one of Saudi Arabia’s main economic, tourism and transport hubs, is located on the Red Sea coast. In addition to being an important business and tourism center, the city is also a major air transport hub for passengers traveling to Mecca and Medina.

The resumption of direct flights to Jeddah will expand travel opportunities between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia and provide passengers with more convenient air connectivity between the two countries.

Tickets can be purchased through Azerbaijan Airlines’ official website or mobile app, as well as through the airline’s sales offices and accredited agencies.
