Members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan, accompanied by Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, began a visit to the East Zangezur and Garabagh regions on September 11.

Axar.az informs a total of 150 officials representing 58 countries and nine international organizations are taking part in the tour.

During the trip, delegates will visit the cities of Shusha and Khankendi, alongside the Aghdara and Kalbajar districts, to get familiar with Azerbaijan’s ongoing reconstruction projects, social and economic infrastructure developments, and the restoration of historical and cultural heritage sites.

This marks the 22nd visit by international diplomats to Azerbaijan’s liberated territories since 2020.
