Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov is on a working visit to China, where he is participating in the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum.

Axar.az reports, citing Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense, that Hasanov visited the production facility of the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC) and met with its General Director Chen Shaoyang. The minister inspected various defense systems.

Hasanov also held a meeting with Chinese Defense Minister Admiral Dong Jun.

The sides discussed the current state and prospects for developing military and military-technical cooperation, as well as cooperation in military education. They also exchanged views on international security and stability and a number of issues of mutual interest.
