Honored artist and well-known Azerbaijani announcer Sevda Saleh Mammadzada has fallen into a coma, and her condition has deteriorated critically.

Axar.az reports that her daughter, Gulten Ramazanova, said that doctors are not hopeful about her mother’s condition.

“My mother’s kidneys have stopped functioning. The doctor said these are her final hours; her body could not withstand it. My mother did not wake up from the coma. Everything is over. The doctors are not hopeful. Her condition is worsening every hour,” Ramazanova said.

Sevda Saleh Mammadzada was admitted to intensive care in a coma on September 1. She was diagnosed with acute ischemic impairment of cerebral blood circulation in both hemispheres, ischemic heart disease, and atrial fibrillation.
