The Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2026) has opened in Baku under the patronage of President Ilham Aliyev.

Axar.az reports that the two-day forum brings together leading global investors, representatives of government bodies and international financial institutions, and business leaders.

Held through a strategic partnership between Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy and The European House – Ambrosetti & TEHA Group, the event is themed "Restoring Trust in a Fragmented World: The South Caucasus as a Pillar of Global Connectivity and Investment Resilience."

The forum serves as a platform for building new partnerships, attracting investment and creating new economic opportunities. Its goal is to establish partnerships on specific projects and develop mechanisms for joint action that contribute to shared prosperity.

Sessions will discuss the impact of global economic and geopolitical developments on economic growth and investment, Azerbaijan's strategic position in this context, regional connectivity and investment opportunities, and prospects for cooperation in various sectors.

As part of the international economic event, Azerbaijani institutions are expected to sign and exchange cooperation documents with various foreign companies and partners.

The Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum is expected to promote new investment areas and cooperation opportunities, strengthen Azerbaijan's role in regional economic connectivity and contribute to the implementation of promising projects.
