Held under the patronage of President Ilham Aliyev, the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum is a major international platform for showcasing the country’s investment opportunities to leading global investors.

Axar.az reports that the forum’s significance is reflected not only in the globally important economic issues discussed, but also in the scale and profile of the investors attending from around the world.

This year, Baku has brought together executives from leading global financial and investment companies, investment and sovereign wealth funds, and international financial institutions. The forum is attended by representatives of major global investment firms such as BlackRock/GIP, Franklin Templeton, PGIM, Brookfield, KKR, Ares and Neuberger Berman, as well as the Turkiye Wealth Fund, Singapore’s Temasek and other major institutional investors.

The institutions participating in the forum collectively manage around $30 trillion in assets. Bringing global investors of this scale together in Baku not only reflects growing interest in Azerbaijan’s investment opportunities, but also creates an important platform for promoting the opportunities the country offers to international capital, expanding direct contacts and strengthening international investment cooperation.
