Six years passed since deadly attack on Barda

Six years have passed since the Azerbaijani city of Barda came under rocket and artillery fire by the Armenian armed forces during the 2020 war.

Axar.az recalls that on October 5, 2020, rocket shells struck central streets of Barda and an area near the city’s central hospital.

As a result, two people were killed and six others were injured, while civilian infrastructure sustained extensive damage.

It should be noted that Barda came under fire a total of five times, on October 5, 8, 27 and 28, and November 7. As a result, 28 people were killed and 108 were injured.
