Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has held a meeting with a delegation led by Adnan Ertem, Turkiye’s Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security.
Axar.az reports that Minister Anar Aliyev said relations between Azerbaijan and Turkiye are based on brotherhood and strategic alliance.
He noted that cooperation between the two countries in labor and social protection, like in other areas, has continued to develop and expand.
Aliyev briefed the delegation on the achievements of the social reforms carried out in Azerbaijan in recent years under the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev. He highlighted the successful cooperation between the two countries’ labor ministries in implementing these reforms.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of the work carried out by the Joint Permanent Commission between the two ministries to advance cooperation in labor and social protection. The officials noted that regular contacts and reciprocal visits have played an important role in deepening bilateral ties.
Ertem expressed satisfaction with the continued development and expansion of cooperation and stressed the importance of exchanging experience.
The sides also discussed the cooperation agenda between the two ministries and ways to further develop ties in social protection.
